Biography:

Prof. Abhijit M. Zende is working as Professor and Head in the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Daulatrao Aher college of Engineering, Karad. Since June 2016. Earlier he worked in Annasaheb Dange college of Engineering and Technology, Ashta; Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune, and VIT, Pune.His research area belongs to water resources, remote sensing and GIS applications in civil Engineering; water security assessment, new model development for effective water resources assessment, smart city, non-conventional energy resouces, legal aspects in civil engineering, etc.

Assoc. Prof. Yongding Tian

Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Biography:

Yongding Tian received his Ph.D from the School of Civil Engineering at Southeast University and the Department of Civil Engineering at Monash University (Australia). After his graduation, Yongding joined Southwest Jiaotong University as an Associate Professor in July 2021. His research interests include structural health monitoring, advanced sensing technology, intelligent construction and performance degradation mechanism investigation. He has gained financial support from National key research and development program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Postgraduate Research & Practice Innovation Progaram of Jiangsu Province. He has published nearly 30 high-quality SCI-indexed journal articles, including the journal of Computer-aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (Top 1 journal in Civil Engineering,IF=11.775), Nano Energy(Top journal,IF=17.881), Automation in Construction (Top journal,IF=7.7), Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing (Top journal,IF=6.823), Structure Control and Health Monitroing, etc. His research output has been applied to the noncontact vortex-induced vibration measurement of Humen Suspension Bridge, the health monitoring of Sutong Yangtze River Bridge and the cable tension force measurement of Nansha Suspection Bridge. He has awarded Golden Medal of the 46th Geneva Inventions, the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award of China and best paper award of the 12th Research Symposium for Chinese PhD Students and Scholars in Australia. And he is served as the Young Advisory Editor of Engineering Reports (ESCI/EI) and the reviewer of the journal of Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Measurement, Journal of Structural Engineering(ASCE) and Experimental Techniques.

Assoc. Prof. Lingkun Chen

Yangzhou University, China

Biography:

Dr. Lingkun Chen is a visiting associate professor/postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA); a visiting sch/Beijing Jiaotong University; an associate professor in the School of Construction and Engineering at Yangzhou University; and a master's student advisor. Central South University's Civil Engineering School granteolar in the Department of Civil Structural and Environmental Engineering (MCEER Lab) at the State University of New York at Buffalo; a postdoctoral fellow at Southwest Jiaotong Universityd him a Ph.D. in bridge dynamics in 2012. He has studied both static and dynamic modeling of bridges and tunnels, as well as dynamic model effects on wind resistance. He has made important contributions to train-neigh tests in mathematical theory, modeling, and dynamic analysis/mechanical testing. A whole 50 papers have been publisshed by him in the Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, Engineering Structures, Vehicle System Dynamics and ASCE Journal of performance of constructed facilities. He has been credited with overseeing 10 nationally-recognized innovations and many NSFC and Provincial initiatives.

Assoc. Prof. Saeed Ghaffarpour Jahromi

Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University, Iran

Biography:

Saeed Ghaffarpour Jahromi was born in 1976 in Jahrom, Fars State, Iran. He completed his high school education in Jahrom with the first rank in 1994. Then he studied BSc in civil engineering at Mazandaran University. Saeed continued his graduate studies in geotechnical engineering at the Amirkabir University of Technology; Master's degree in 2002 and PhD in 2008. He is currently a faculty member of the Civil Engineering Department at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. Saeed was the head of the Civil Engineering Faculty form October 2014 to May 2021. Saeed has published five professional books, more than 65 refereed journal papers and more than 170 conference proceedings articles. Also, he is the referee of more than 15 national and international journals. His most important research interests are in earthquake geotechnical engineering and pavement engineering. He has been the secretary of several national and international conferences so far. He has also been head of the tournament for national student competitions of Geo-wall in Iran (2015 and 2016).
